FEATURED SHAPER:
Stu Kenson
Making his first board during the summer of 1971 had a huge impact on him. He lived near the Clark Foam blanks factory and working in a surf shop where Terry Martin was the main shaper. The shapers David Craig, Max McDonald, Jeff Mack, Darryl Bulger and Jason Stevenson have influenced him. But it's his meeting with Rusty Priesendorfer that lead Stu to study and learn more under his watchful eye than any other mentor.

Stu Kenson is world wide knowing for his performance shortboards, big wave guns, longboards and many other alternative surfboards (single, twin fish, twinzer and mid-length board).
After working for JS industries as the USA shaper, he decided to focus full time on his own label, SK surfboards. Some of the world’s finest surfers rely on Kenson to provide them with boards, including Big Wave Tour competitor Shawn Dollar, Colin Dywer, Luca Padua, Will Skudin and Travis Payne.
