Bird opened Bird's Surf Shed in 2011 after decades of owning and working in shops with various partners and friends. He wanted his new shop on Morena Blvd to reflect his passion for the surfboard when most shops were focusing on surf fashion. The "Shed" has become one of the worlds great meccas in regards to the surfboard and the joy it brings.
